🌊 Atwater Beach — A Beautiful Shorewood Gem
The other day, I decided to take a little walk over by Atwater Beach in Shorewood, and of course I had my camera with me. 📸 Sometimes the best photos happen when you’re not really planning a photoshoot—you just see something beautiful and capture it.
It was getting pretty dark by the time I made it closer to the beach. I thought about walking all the way down to the water, but once I saw how dark that path was getting, I said, “Yeah…not tonight!” 😂 I’ll save that adventure for another day when there’s a little more daylight.
Even without going all the way down, I was able to capture some really nice photos. There’s something about Atwater Beach that makes you forget you’re only minutes away from the city. Between the lake, the trees, the bluff and those beautiful views of Lake Michigan, it’s definitely one of those places worth visiting when you want to get outside, clear your head, take a walk or bring your camera.
